Microneedling improves the appearance of our skin by stimulating its natural production of collagen and elastin – proteins found in the skin that enhance the fullness and youthfulness. Most microneedling sessions last only 30-45 minutes depending on the area to be treated. There is little to no post-procedure downtime, but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most return to their daily activities with mild redness. Several treatments may be required depending on the desired outcome and degree of damage to be reversed. However, most report a visible improvement in overall skin texture, skin tone soon after the first treatment.
